Catchment Committee Inc (WICC)
Area of
operation: City of Albany, Shire of Plantagenet and Shire of Denmark, Western
Australia.
Mission:
Catchment management and natural resource management - achieving results
with farmers and landholders on-the-ground;deep rooted perennials, nutrient
reduction, fencing and revegetation, and fertilizer workshops.
Award:
The Wilson Inlet Catchment Committee won the Toshiba Community Group Award, and we will now represent W.A. in the national landcare awards in 2010.
Invitation:
I would like to invite any interested person/s who would be interested in becoming part of the Wilson Catchment Committee to please contact Elissa. Membership is free and it is a great way to have a say and be a part of current and future natural resource management projects within the catchment.
